Hmm, sooo tired this AM I tried a post-workout protein-cafe ole/latte solution in the vitamix. My first caffeine since Mardis Gras (previously averaging 15-20 cups caffeinated beverages per day):

1 dark coffee w chicory
1 cup whole fat organic milk (heated)
1 scoop Muscle Milk powder graham cracker flavor

Blend until foamy (30 seconds or so).

A taste and texture disaster, granted it got the job done. Call it the "triple option offense" in my morning caffeine arsenal.

3/10.

If and when there's a next time, I'll try vanilla or unflavored protein powder. Better protein powder, no less. I could also try with green tea, although the milk would seem out of place.

People not laughing at the Venture Bros. is bad enough. People comparing it to other animated shows is lolbad. Its more of a drama than any other animated show I'm award of.

rebirth episode of tom goes to the mayor is incredible but yeah the show is extremely hit or miss.

metalacolypse is terrible imo. it's what made me realize that loren bouchard was the true genius behind home movies (well also h jon benjamin ldo) which is confirmed by the greatness of bob's burgers.

also boondocks is ****ing hilarious.

I've watched a decent number of minutes of that show (King of the Hill) in my life due to various factors. It ****ing sucks. I see no redeeming value.

(I'm aware that this is not the consensus opinion, and that other opinions are probably defensible. But for me, it's just not at all funny, and it's not nearly smart or interesting enough to make up for that deficit. I find it soul-numbingly boring and pointless.)

eta: also agree with Phildo wrt Metalocalypse. Wouldn't say "terrible", but way overrated. At least it's a relatively interesting 10 minutes, doesn't commit the cardinal "boring" sin.

I've cut down a lot on caffeine and I feel a lot better, I think. No coffee, soda, etc. I have iced tea with lunch sometimes but that's about it.

Yep. 1 part self-medicating for ADHD symptoms brought out by anti-anxiety meds. + 1 part sleep deprivation.

Going to keep it below 2 per day average moving forward. And I mean official unit of measurement cups, not my "cup".

10 or so. If I was dehydrated, how come I was peeing so much?

May have avoided that by never exercising, and occaisionally throwing down a gatorade. Plus I don't drink alcohol.

It's a good show. Not going to put it above a lot of the other animated shows, but definitely will watch it randomly.
