GoT isn't a movie though, it's a season of 1hr shows. It should lose very little from book->screen. A large book being parsed down to <3hrs. is probably going to be lacking.

For bachelor party just get alcohol, strippers, and gambling. If for whatever reason you cant do strippers or gambling just get a bunch more alcohol and go fishing or something.

As for the speech don't even bother with lovey ****. Just tell the funniest story you have and at the end make it relate to getting married or something. People have been bored out of their minds listening and watching all day. Make them laugh. I told a farting story related to the groom.
