Ugh the cats are legit fat - well one is super fat the other one is just kinda big.

They are both coming up on seven years old. Certainly not from the same litter - one was excess that was dropped off at the shelter but the other one was a stray that was captured after his tail got somehow severed. He was presumably in too much pain to run away, was taken in and had his tail amputated in half and put him up for adoption. He still has a lot of street in him after all these years.

Back from the Vet...

Milky Way has a urinary track infection which has probably caused the peeing everywhere. She also had blood sugar of 660(!) where 150 is normal, so she is mad diabetic. We got some pills and some insulin, so we will have to give her shots.

She is locked in the bathroom now. She has peed like 4 times all over the house, haha. But at least seems like is gonna be OK eventually

yeota, that's great news.

AJ, that pic is way better than mine. I wish mine would provide me more photo ops like yours (and others) but they tend to give each other plenty of space. Given the independent nature of cats that's not terribly surprising, and at least they get along. Maybe over time they will become more BFF.

I had a dog. Weighed 130, Anatolian Shepherd. He died from cancer like 16 months ago.

I want a dog but I live in an apartment and have long days. It would just be cooped up inside all day, bored out of its mind. I'd feel awful about that
