Early Dexter is very good but I just can't put any of the seasons as a contender for GOAT TV season. I wonder if anyone has actually re-watched those seasons? The acting is still bad in spots, plot lines a bit ropey and not really a show I've ever taken as seriously as BB or The Wire. Even a show such as Lost, that divides opinion, reached great levels early on (and even in later years imo). I wouldn't even put Dexter as Michael C. Hall's best show.
