As a karaoke noob, I'm not fully sure I understand the distinction, but I believe I'm looking for an Asian-style private room type setup.

I've been to Zizzy a few times. I believe it's in spring mountain. Open real late, the food is not bad, and it's a lot of fun.

I think Joe Rogan Experience has highest peak for podcast but some of them aren't that good. (He has a couple regular guests who are meh)

But he has mostly really awesome interesting guests and Joe is actually really good at interviewing. He often has experts on topics that are way over his head (theoretical physics, robotics, history experts) and you can tell he goes way out of his way to read and research to ask interesting questions and let the guests shine

Ari Shaffir is awful though, and he's on like once a month

Honestly, Ari's better as a host of his own show, Skeptic Tank.

Joe's had an absurd run these past few months, with Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Dana White, Dan Carlin, Freeway Ricky Ross (the dealer, not the rapper), Melissa Etheridge, David Lee Roth, and others. The one with Enson Inoue is outstanding.

It's just elite stuff.

I'm in Texas and it's been a while since I've bowled in a seedy old bowling alley that smelled like 1972. I doubt those place have the mph thing.

Where I usually bowl is at one of those family fun center places that has laser tag, billiards, arcade, blacklight putt-putt, bowling, skee ball, etc.

Like the type of place where I'm in the top 2% of age, at 33. If you enter with a mustache they have take you to the side and verify you are not registered as an offender of sexual relations with childrens. They do the "rock and bowl" thing where they shut the lights off and have a disco ball spinning around or whatever and have a few black lights. Those places all have the MPH number up on the scoreboard, and you can even choose your animation style if you get a strike.

I bowl there maybe twice a year.

The place I bowl at once a year has really cool animations no matter how many pins you knock down, my favorite one is when you get a split.

I'm not a fan of the circle of regular comics that are on JRE (Segura, Trussell, Shaffir etc.) and the pseudo-science ones he has I find intolerable (Guys like Dr. Richard Greer or Graham Hancock) and Eddie Bravo is legit ******ed.

But when he goes outside of that pool it's >>> than any other podcast imo. Tito ortiz, Bas Rutten, Maynard james Keenan, Victor Conte, Dave Foley are some others that are GOAT off the top of my head.

I liked how in the Enson Inoue one he just casually breezed by a story about how he beat a Yakuza guy in Japan for 20 minutes because he was dodging him with Kid Yamamoto (or something). Either he's full of **** or he's a very scary guy.

True Murder is sometimes interesting.

The Champs was good but haven't listened to it for a few episodes. They had Blake griffin twice, Jose canseco was weird, too short was good.

Used to bowl pretty competitively until I could legally enter casinos. High average was around 205-210.

Joe Rogan experience is really entertaining and sometimes informative depending on the guest, probably my favorite overall

Bill Burr's podcast is hilarious for straight comedy

Sklarbro Country is pretty good mix of comedy/sports but honestly I usually skip to the last ten minutes and just listen to the "guests" (which are always just impressions from some guy who is insanely talented and hilarious)

Freakanomics is really interesting for economics stuff

Best soccer podcast is Football Weekly Extra

B.S. Report pretty good depending on guest

Deadspin (and the other gawker sites?) completely changed their format, apparently in order to make the site un-navigable and more similar to bleacher report in that you can write your own articles or something. Well done
