), he shouldn't be sacrificed to moderation. Someone who is already prone to being argumentative is a far better candidate. Das Boot, Dudd, and a small handful of others are too nice (and probably too smart) and it would wreck them as regular contributors. Solid posters are more valuable than competent moderators. The latter can always be backfilled.

Promotion to overnight soon means my posting time overall will be down, and the majority of that will be slow nights at work during 11PM-6AM.
Plus, I enjoy my current role here at 2p2 and don't see how me being a mod would enhance mine or anybody else's 2p2 experience.
