Simpsons alternative openings are leet; I can only remember the one where they chase the couch, but there are other better ones (couch chase is still prettay good).

It may be hard to believe but in the 90s EA was held in what we'd now call "google-esque" esteem in terms of great places to work. Now even its employees say they hate it. Doesn't take long to forget where you came from. About the tine it takes to squire an exclusive NFL license is guess.

You can't play even single player mode unless you are connected to their servers. No offline mode basically. From what I understand.

Basically this. Instead of the data being housed locally on your computer/PS3/Xbox, the data is housed on EA's servers. If they're down? You can't play. If they do maintenance and lose data? Your game might be gone.

It's supposed to protect players from the dangers of piracy, but that's basically false.
