Then I am going to highlight what separates the Assani Fisher/BobboFitos psychic service from the majority of services out there, many of which can be described as downright useless and/or even fraudulent. For those uninterested in these matters, feel free to skip to the bottom portion of the post which will contain our services and prices.

First let me begin by saying that I very much understand the viewpoint of the skeptic. Real psychic powers are much rarer than the abundance of those who claim to have such powers. As with many unfortunate cases, the fact that there was a great deal of money to be made through predicting the future has proven to be a detriment to the artform and has given rise to all sorts of bogus claims. Allow me to quickly go through some common myths and to clarify what the facts are. Regardless of whether or not you should choose to use our service, I hope that you seriously consider these facts when choosing your next psychic service.

Myth: Psychics can predict the future with near 100% accuracy
Fact: It is very much an inexact science. No human being has perfect psychic vision, and I very much have doubts that anyone has anything even remotely close to it. Rather, a true psychic can get a general outline of a person's future, often times which is quite hazy and unclear.
Practical application: Never use any psychic service which makes absurd claims about their accuracy being near 100%. These types of services are almost assuredly a scam. Rather choose a psychic service which is upfront about the shortcomings of their art and aims to provide a valuable service in light of those shortcomings.

Myth: Theres is only one possible future and if a psychic gives you a legitimate psychic reading then you are powerless to change the future.
Fact: Thats simply 100% false. Free will is one thing which makes the art such an inexact science.
Practical application: Use your trusted psychic reading as an opportunity to change the parts of your future which you do not wish to happen.

Myth: The artform of future telling is a religious one.
Fact: None of the verified psychics that I have ever encountered have claimed to get their powers from religious sources, nor am I aware of any mainstream religions that associate themselves with it. With that said, I obviously can't say that there have never been any religious based psychic services that are indeed legitimate.
Practical application: I highly encourage everyone to explore their own religious beliefs and values, but I do not encourage anyone to automatically assume that because psychics have a seemingly supernatural power that it must be due to religious reasons. Personally, I have always experienced my psychic powers apart from any organized religious experiences.

Myth: Psychics can always get a reading on every person who comes to them.
Fact: Even legitimate psychics can experience too much "noise" to get anything resembling a clear reading at times. This doesn't mean that they aren't legit; Rather, they should be applauded for their honesty at times when it may hurt them financially.
Practical application: This is a major problem in our industry. To admit that you can't get a reading on a person would most likely mean refunding their money. With that said, I would highly encourage a person to return to the same psychic service that refunded their money on these grounds, as you can trust that they are more interested in the true artform than making a quick and easy profit through deceit.

Myth: Psychics can answer specific questions like "Will I get this job?" or "Should I go on this trip?"
Truth: Legitimate future telling is an incredibly inexact science, and while you may sometimes get insights into questions that trouble you about your future, you will sometimes only get meaningless insights that have little practical value.
Practical application: Don't be discouraged when you don't get all of the answers you seek from a legit psychic. Often times I've encountered people who were disappointed with their first few readings but have told me that they stuck with it and had their lives changed due to subsequent readings. Now this doesn't mean that you shouldn't prepare a list of important questions for your psychic, as that can be helpful for him to try to gain insight. However, be realistic about what can be expected, and always appreciate the psychic who is honest about his shortcomings, as those are the ones who you can trust the most.

Myth: A legitimate psychic reading will never be misleading.
Fact: A quick story to illustrate my point here, quite a tragic tale actually....some time ago a woman came to me for a reading, and I informed her that I sensed great tragedy regarding water. She commented that she was planning on going to the swimming pool immediately after her reading, and that she would cancel her plans. Later that day she drowned in her bath tub. Obviously, she was mislead by a legitimate reading.
Practical application: Always be aware that a psychic reading is a mere glimpse into the future. I can't stress this point enough. Its not exact, and in fact it can be quite unclear. It does indeed have a lot of value, but the value is most easily used while also recognizing it's limitations.

Myth: You should believe someone who is trying to sell you something
Fact: People will lie for money. It happens all the time. You should be much less apt to believe someone who is trying to sell you something.
Practical application: Doubt, doubt, doubt. A real psychic will not mind a person coming in with a skeptical mindset. Its the fakes who fear objective analysis of their work.

Why is the Assani Fisher/BobboFitos psychic service better than the others?
We are fully aware that you have many choices in todays world to meet your psychic needs. We have built our company on a few key principles which we think set us apart.....

I didn't get into this line of work until late 2004, and from the beginning I was amazed at the lack of accountability in the psychic world. Unfounded claims with a lack of stat keeping or objective analysis was common place. Moreover, most psychics would cling to the positive feedback, often times citing satisfied clients as references. But of course any negative feedback would be instantly dismissed, never to be heard of again. This quite obviously makes it impossible for the consumer to discern between the legitimate and the illegitimate. However, I had a plan....my plan was to set up a psychic association which would legitimately track each psychic's results. Any psychic was free to join the association, and the rules were quite simple: When you have a new client, you file his paperwork with the alliance before giving him his reading(its done before to prevent psychics from only having those giving positive feedback participate). The client is asked to grade the psychic's work on a grade scale A-E or give a a grade of incomplete. The clients were given the following descriptions to aid them in their grading(I'm paraphrasing here as I don't have an exact copy of the form in front of me):

A: From my session I fully believe that this psychic is legitimate and I would definitely use their services again.
B: From my session I have strong reason to believe that this psychic is legitimate, but I'm not fully convinced. I would most likely their service again should the need arise.
C: My session has still left me with doubt about the psychic's ability, but I can't say for sure. I would consider using their service again.
D: My session has not provided me anything more than the very tiniest bit of evidence supporting the legitimacy of this psychic, and I doubt I would use their service again.
E: The psychic has fully convinced me that he is a fraud, and I would consider using his service a waste of time even if it were free of charge.
Incomplete: I don't feel as if I have enough information currently to give a proper evaluation.

I tried to contact every single psychic I could to join the alliance, which was tentatively named the WWPA(World Wide Psychic Alliance). Out of the hundreds that I contacted, however, I only had 111 people join. And as the bad results poured in, many of them ended up quitting. In fact, only 32 psychics stuck with the program long enough to have a sample size of over 100 clients. In the end, two people stood about the rest: Me and BobboFitos, who I didn't personally know at the time and only coincidentally later found out was a 2p2er. My results:

sample size: 1561 clients
61.63% gave me an A
21.85% gave me a B
1.79% gave me a C
0.38% gave me a D
1.66% gave me an E
12.68% gave me an incomplete

Bobbo's results:

sample size: 502 clients
62.95% gave him an A
10.16% gave him a B
10.35% gave him a C
3.58% gave him a D
2.39% gave him an E
10.56% gave him an incomplete

Out of the other 30 participants in the alliance with a 100+ sample size, none of them received over 47.62% A's, none of them received less than 5.01% E's, and none of them received over 2.66% incompletes. The lack of A's and abundance of E's is pretty clear, but why exactly were the two apparent best psychics receiving so many incompletes? Around this time I began to become better friends with BobboFitos, and we discussed this very issue. We both concluded that we received so many incompletes because we were two of the few who were honest about their work. If we weren't able to read much into a client's future, then we were honest with them about our findings even if it meant having to give a partial or full refund.

You would think that such evidence would lead to a drastic increase in our business, but that simply wasn't the case. BobboFitos and I sat back and watched several psychics who we personally knew were frauds become successful. Why was that? Crazy enough, it seems as if people would rather you lie to them and tell them anything than to tell them the truth. Often times, BobboFitos and myself wouldn't get a clear reading, and we would tell the clients that. Other times we would get readings that weren't regarding significant life changing events, and you can imagine how clients would react to spending money only to be told totally trivial results. However, the truth is the truth, and we were determined to not let our lack of success drive us to lying.

We think we've now found a solution! We've paired up to create what we believe is the finest psychic team in the industry. Our methods are simple: We each independently read the clients future, then we meet to discuss our results, we discuss areas of disagreement or vagueness, and then we each give another independent reading taking into consideration what we've learned from each other. Finally after all of that we present the client with a final product: A reading from two of the best psychic minds in the world. This method produces a lot less cases where we are unable to give a clear meaningful reading(although they still do exists, and I'm sorry to say that we can't give refunds except in the rare cases where we literally can't come up with any type of reading whatsoever). We're hopeful that this combined with our stunning accuracy will catapult us to the forefront of the psychic world. We are always looking for other honest and legitimate psychics to join our team, but because we want to be so selective about this, as of now its just the two of us.

Our services and prices

Lucky Numbers($20): Our simplest service, where we merely inform you of numbers that will have good luck for you. These can obviously be used for gambling purposes, although luck doesn't always mean "winning money" as many people would believe.

Daily reading($50): We will provide our service pertaining to one day in the near future.

Weekly/Monthly reading($200): Much more in depth than the daily reading, you can almost think of this as many daily readings in one.

Long term reading($500): Often useful for clients making big decisions that will affect their future, pretty much any and everything is open to be read here.

Video recorded reading($1000): This can be a daily, weekly/monthly, long term reading, or some combination of the 3. What makes this unique is that both BobboFitos and myself will video tape our methods and send you a copy. This will enable you to see exactly how we came up with our readings. We consider this the ultimate psychic experience, and while we fully understand the price is steep, we very much doubt that anyone will be disappointed. In fact, we'd be shocked if those who used this service didn't become repeat customers and/or buy the year long membership.

Year Long Membership($5000): For one calendar year you get up to 100 lucky number readings, up to 50 daily readings, up to 20 weekly/monthly readings, up to 10 long term readings, and up to 5 video recorded readings(none of the video recorded readings will count towards the limits of the other types of readings). You may use them at any time, although please bear with us during busier times and realize that while all of our year long members are top priority, we may not always be able to get the readings done immediately.

Payment can be in the form of PokerStars/Full Tilt transfer, personal check, or money delivered to either of us in person(I live in Vegas, BobboFitos lives in Boston). Our methods vary greatly for each individual. In some cases, it may be required that we ask many questions of the client, whereas in other cases we can provide our services without this. Full honestly and cooperation is an absolute must to ensure the highest degree of accuracy. Also we fully understand that many people will tend to mock or joke about our services....we appreciate all of our customers and will not turn anyone away, but please know that any such behavior can and will have a negative impact upon the accuracy of your reading.

Above all else, we would be more than happy to get feedback and to make it public. We will ask each client to grade us on the above outlined scale, and we fully welcome people to post reviews in this thread. We are aware that many people see this entire industry as a scam, and we want nothing more than the objective truth to be made known.Lastly, please be aware that our readings are merely guidance, and we completely absolve ourselves from any legal ramifications of our clients actions based upon our service. We provide guidance, and our clients may decide how to act upon that guidance in any way they see fit. We will never command a client to do anything, only suggest. Thanks for taking the time to read this, and I'll be more than happy to answer any questions. Contact me or BobboFitos via PM or simply post in this thread if you wish to use our service.

Assani and Bobbo should really be using these powers to be better than 50% of NBA GMs.

That Assani/Bobbo thing has to be part of a prop bet, right? I mean, why pay $1k for psychic services when you could just buy some pot and achieve zen?

Maybe they're just becoming dealers and just speaking in code by claiming its "psychic services".

How about a separate thread for the Colts-Pats game this sunday and a mod just merges it in with the late games thread after the game ends?

Don't wanna read lots of posts regarding the other, less awesome games in the same thread as the one for the Colts-Pats game, which should be epic.

Someone on facebook had a status message up today bragging about how she bought toys for some children's charity and even included the $$ amount (150) that she spent on it.

This really tilted me.

That would definitely bother me too. Nothing worse than someone who goes out of their way to show how "good" they are. That always makes me think they are doing things just for the positive press instead of them actually caring about who they are helping/being nice to.

Not to be corny, but George Steinbrenner was quoted as saying something along the lines of "if more people than you and the person you are helping know you are doing it, then you are doing it for the wrong reasons." Shortly after Steinbrenner's death, Rudy Giuliani revealed that Steinbrenner was the mystery benefactor who had been paying for kids' surgeries in NY from time to time... which was a very well kept secret during his life.

The exact status was "X and I just spent $150 on Christmas gifts for 6 charity kids."

lol "charity kids"
