I'm convinced that the most fun any group of guy friends will ever have is a winning streak at a craps table. It's just awesome. Everyone is a TEAM and in it together and strangers are high fiving you.

OTOH, "seven out" after everyone has the table loaded up on 3 points is basically the most awful feeling in the world.

One night a few years back during a WSOP, me and 4 or 5 other friends went to the Luxor randomly one night to play some craps and just went on one of those insane runs. Our buddy rolled for roughly an hour. Start with something like $10-$20 on the pass line, $30 on 6 and 8 and by the end of it you have about $350 on every single number. Just any non-7 is $ collected basically. Best part of the run was my buddy who was rolling mid-heater was like "nickel aces!" throws a $5 chip on snake eyes. I usually don't bet that **** at craps but just quickly said "yep, same bet!". Boom he throws out snake eyes for another $150. Some other guy at the table not in our group has like 1k on the pass line every time and he's just tossing my buddy who is rolling a $100 chip after he hits each point lol. It was truly one of the GOAT craps sessions. They're few and far between.

I don't even remember how much we all won but it was def in the 2k/person range (all starting with around $200-300).

The end of one of those runs is such a strange bittersweet moment, because you finally look down and are thinking "wow I just won a lot, that was awesome".

But at the same time you look at the board and see them raking in about $1400 that you still had in play. It's a weird "aw, shucks" moment for losing that much money.

Some old lady betting the minimum on the pass was on a 30 minute roll and was pounding all the hard numbers with her rolls. A dude with at least $10k on the table was raking it in, so he would put her up $10 each on all of the hard numbers and would keep putting her back up if any of them went down.

The old lady made him him at least another $10k on the hard numbers alone (he had $100 on each to start) and was raking in about ~$100 for herself every time the hardways hit. I'm not sure if she even knew why she was getting paid, b/c she only had the basic $10 on the pass, but by the end of her roll she must of made about ~$1500 from the guy putting her up on the hardways alone

By the time she crapped out, there were pumpkins ($1k chips) on hard 6 and 8

Love playing craps. The first time I ever rolled I went on for about 45 mins and made the table around 5k. I had absolutely no idea what I was doing and only made like 3-400 but it was still awesome.

I'd love to be at a craps table with a bunch of buddies, but I don't really know enough about craps to know how to do it right. Only a couple of my friends play/know how to play it, so it's not exactly a situation that comes up very often. I'm too nitty for blackjack. Why play that when you can be in a poker room?

I'll rarely degen in the pit unless I'm with friends or whatever. It's social entertainment. And I'm a huge nit about it. Typically bet the minimum, just playing for fun. Most of the time, I'm in the poker room.

Playing craps is really easy. Just ignore all the random sucker bets and learn how to play the pass line and bet max odds once you set a point.

I befriended a stripper named Christina, from Spearmint Rhino. I got her to cook for our house (several years in fact) She wanted to take a few of us out to a club (went to the Luxor club, (I don't remember the name, Lava or something, didn't like it) so we did.

I'm not a fan of night clubs, so got bored kinda early. I told my 2 other friends who were there + Christina that I was leaving. So I left. I got home and remember vividly helping one of my friends (Aaron, not AE, but a different one) with poker tracker, reviewing one of his sessions.

20 minutes later the 3 of them arrived. Christina told me she had a headache and wanted to lay down, so naturally I brought her to my room (which was the master bedroom with a couch). I didn't think much of it, and went back down to continue analyzing hands.

When we finished, went back up, and Christina was obv not there anymore. I then realized what happened and felt like an idiot. (She banged a different friend of mine)

Topping it off, in the morning she slinked to my room, completely disshelved, and gave me a bizarre apology.

Funny enough, the friend I played heads up for red bulls years earlier was the same friend who wound up banging Christina
