not really sure how that would improve anything, those who want to watch the games that "matter" still would, and those that enjoy the nba would have less games to watch. Maybe higher percentage of games would have better ratings, but how's that important if it doesn't improve revenue?

Dropping most of the back to backs would increase quality of play, and you're nuts if you don't think improved ratings wouldn't increase revenue though probably not enough to offset the loss of games overall.

wtf at it getting major oscar nods? it's about The Power Of Movies. Make a movie about The Power Of Movies and Hollywood loves it! Oh, and Alan Arkin's hilarious comments about the ins and outs of the film business - how droll!

I enjoyed Argo but I wanted to wring the writer's neck for putting those words into John Goodman and Alan Arkin's mouths

This.

If basketball and football teams could play every day without a drop in quality I'd watch them every day as well.

I didn't realize the best pitchers pitched every day.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog and ... wat?

For the team I root for, sometimes I'm more apt to watch the 4/5 pitchers, because of

(1) potential lols
(2) free-roll factor

And yes, the difference in quality from #1 to #2, etc., comparatively, is slight compared to, say, basketball teams on the second day of a back to back.

I feel like Pitbull won some contest 5 years ago where you send in X amount of Bud Light labels and the winner gets to be an international pop star.
