I've never seen Mash but if you think the Bridge on the River Kwai, which is practically unwatchable, is "among the best", then I'm gonna assume Mash also blows.

Bridge On The River Kwai is one of the greatest films of all time.

bidon3: granted i've not seen all of MASH the movie, but what I did see of it seemed rather dated. Comedy dates way easier than drama, and tends to be a lot like music in that the widest segment of the population considers comedy and music to have been perfected when they were between the ages of 13 and 20.

Bridge on the River Kwai is definitely great, but like all older movies it has old movie pacing, which can make it seem boring/unwatchable if you're not in the right mindset for it.
