Australia has public-funded education system where you basically pay nothing to study and start paying back a fairly modest % when you get a job in taxes

its super hard to get for sought-after courses like medicine and law and you need a sick SAT-equivalent score or you can pay like 10-20k a year and have a less ultra-elite score (like 96 vs 99.40) to study law and such

I feel like everyone's aggregate value as a poster plummets by about 40% after the NFL season.

Meh. February is far and away the WOAT sports month in US of A. We'll get through this. This, too, shall pass.

I always felt like the only chance SOCCER had in America was if the season was like 8 weeks long and traversed the chasm of suck from the Super Bowl to the baseball season. And the teams played every single night. I would actually watch it in this case - and even get a boner every time there was a shot on goal.

Soccer seems to be clearly and steadily gaining popularity in the US. I'm always surprised when I see a "what does soccer need to do to be popular in the US". Seems to me like it's already doing it.

In the case you are being sarcastic (which I believe you are), consider this:
Most people don't go to law school so they can add value to the law society or make this world a safer and better place to live. They go for the $$$. Break it down, reword it however you want, but that's the truth. (not that there's anything wrong with that).

...in which case, $250k/yr is horrible.

Oh it's definitely popular down here. I'm pretty sure like 70,000 illegal immigrants show up the Dynamo games.

I guess what I meant was, for me to actually want to pay attention to it and care about it it should be packaged as an 8 week season between NFL and MLB. I seriously would probably watch that ****, assuming teams played every night or no less than every other night. Even though the sport doesn't interest me, there is literally nothing to grab my attention at night for the 8 week stretch following the Super Bowl. I don't gaf about the NBAids.

Hell, really the season could be 10 weeks and start right after the NFL CCGs. The 2 weeks leading up to the SB suck huge peen. Unless you love listening to the media tell the same human interest story about the backup long-snapper for the 18th time that day.

Yeah, striving for wealth and only being at like the 98th percentile in annual income is a horrendous failure. So I'll assume you're being sarcastic as well.

$250K seems like a mediocre return if the opportunity cost is your soul.

She said that she skipped the 2nd half of school (clown college) with two other girls and then they all drank some beers and were driving around. She explains that she didn't completely stop at a stop sign and someone in the crosswalk yelled at her and told her to pull over. Well, that someone was an officer.

She pulled over for a little bit and as the officer went to his car (already parked) she floored it away from him (felony). She said she pulled into some parking spot in an apartment complex and opened the windows and dump out all the beer. She then said she was hiding (ducking down, I assume) and saw the cop driving all around looking for her. Basically, she was extremely lucky yesterday. I'd guess she'll be in jail for at least a year anytime now. She is going to Dr's at least twice a week and getting pain pills or at least trying to. And, if the Dr. doesn't give her what she wants, she throws a temper tantrum and starts swearing at the Dr. I'm glad i've never been around for that, really.

So, things have been well, pretty teribad but I do love having totally uninhibited sex with her. But, even that now isn't worth it, so I basically told her that I think she will be a horrible wife, mother, etc. Her decision to skip school and drink and drive was about the stupidest thing she could have ever done. And then she ran from a cop, she should be thanking god she isn't locked up right now. I said some harsh truths and she was upset and didn't like hearing them.

So, she wants to talk about taking a break for a few days. I told her there was no break. We had a awkward ass dinner (steak and king crab very good btw) at my place because we had bought the food a day earlier. She then leaves and goes to **** the heroin addict. Do I love her? No. I can't say I do. Was ****ing heroin boy on valentines the nut low thing to do? Yes. I believe it was and that does hurt. So I just have to be strong and resist her attempts at contact now, because there will be plenty of them. She hates being ignored more than anything and i've pretty much said all I wanted to say to her about her as a person.

next update will probably be me hearing that she is locked up via word of mouth. I will report
I guess if he stops talking to her a new thread from her isn't far away.

Yes

Just to clarify my position because I've been approached about it: going to law school for straight cash homie is dumb. I know this. I'm merely making the non-absurd statement that $250k/yr is not horrible. At all. Unless your definition of failure is not owning a $10mil yacht or something.
