i did law but australia has such a terrible payoff in terms of realistic top end salary

~250k after 5-10 years of 70+ hr weeks, woopty doo

get to be a millionaire if you make it at one of the really big firms but that takes some form of aspy-lawyerness and like tons of time and talent

Doesn't it highly depend on what kind of law you're practicing?

For example:
Criminal Law seems like it has a very very low floor but pretty high ceiling. OTOH, Commercial litigation seems like it has a decent floor and a ridiculously high ceiling.

It's had its moments. All the women have been atrocious actors so far though. The Asian girl was really, really bad.
