im not a music person really either and i really only enjoy a specific subset of music (and i'm weirdly picky) but heres what i came up with

free bird - skynyrd
everlong - foo fighters
one - U2
otherside - rhcp
under the bridge -rhcp
gimme shelter -stones
sound of silence -simon & garfunkel!
stairway to heaven- zeppelin
december- collective soul
lightning crashes - live

i mean like 95% of everything i listen to is rock from the 90s. Makes me happy.

other crap i considered includes some other stones songs (because **** the beatles)
alive - pearl jam (trololololol)
mykonos - fleet foxes (i love this song)
black dog (a better song than stairway)
some eminem
forever - travis barker remix
sittin on the dock - excellent choice for last song

Does this mean I can still drink all the varieties of beer and wine I want but only one liquor, or only one alcoholic beverage period?

Ardbeg 10 is great, but I wouldn't choose it in this scenario. Personally, I can't justify tasting that everyday. To peaty for an everyday drink IMO.

That's why I pick Glenlivet 12. Smooth, simple but still complex enough to enjoy on a regular basis over a long period of time.

Random Scotch thought: skip the Glenfiddich. Thoroughly meh. No reason to waste your money on it.

I don't like Glenfiddich either; too fruity. With that said, I know a lot of friends and colleagues who love it and recommend it to others on the regular.
