girl, stock market, kitchen, and movies and TV shows is also pretty strong if she has an average or better personality.

u pretty much have to go sunlight and food. then obv sex slave. so now we got 4-9 pts left for entertainment. i gotta go drugs to take ur mind off of the daily boredom. then u gotta have music to go with drugs. thats 35 i think.

if xm doesnt suck then you can use that but iirc its horrid suck programming. unlimited internet radio would be worthwhile.

I cant imagine ever not having either the kitchen or chef flown food + the stock market. those two are a must.

Stock market way overrated imo.

Even if you get the library and read up on every financial book ever made, the likelihood of you making more than 5% on your money per year is pretty low.

For me this exercise is about survival, not about how to turn my $5M into $6M. I'm already taking half the money to get 5 points, why would I spend 7 points to get a chance to (hopefully) turn it into 10M?

not taking the girl is massive fail.

stock market is only partially about making money. I think 10% compunding is reasonable which puts you at $8.05 million at the end of it (less taxes on taxable gains which will result in $6-7.5 MM). However, the real benefit is it gives you something to do from 8-6 every single weekday and as much time as you want on the weekends assuming you get company related news, Qs, Ks, press releases, etc. This is endless and updated information and worth a ton in terms of killing time if you ever get bored.

Daer going with the monastic strategy to ship the 10m (if you take the girl, I think it's almost always going to be worthwhile to use the extra 5 pts)

At only 5 points, it's a super-insta-fistpump-snapcall

I'm being swayed that sunlight may be worth it. Could even bounce the gourmet food to just a kitchen, since maybe I have so much time cooking would be fun. Can only JBH or play basketball so many times in a day.

Ya, details on the girl are important imo. Is she a sex slave who just appears unwillingly for sex or does she actually want to be there (for whatever reason) and have some random chance of having an ok personality? Depending on the circumstances, I might go girl+tv+music+kitchen and take my $5 million. But I could see trading her in for skylight, workout room, garden, radio, doctor, and up it to $10 million.

I think clarifications on the girl are necessary

If it's some docile, aging 18 year old it might not be worth it

If it's a new 18 year old every year with a personality, then it's a snap call

Should it be the first scenario I go with

TV package - 7
Full kitchen - 6
Workout room - 5
Library - 4
Video games - 4
Surround system - 4
Satellite radio - 2
Medical care - 2
Pool table - 1

For 35 Points and the $5 mil

Cooking would be a ****ing amazing hobby given unlimited ingredients and recipes imo. Unlimited world-class ingredients is getting pretty underrated I think.

Basketball with just yourself to play with seems like it'd get pretty boring pretty damn quickly, especially since you can't really apply any skillz you acquire for 10 years.

Spending 18 points on the girl seems like spew when you could be getting cornholed by Bonds for less than half the price.

That's why you get other entertainment instead of wasting > 1/2 your points on girl and only having basketball as a respite.

I think so, but I also work as a trader at an investment management firm and don't ever see myself doing anything else for a living. Thus, I am tied to the notion that I get the stock market and get to do what I do everyday but make a lot more money doing it. I am also bullish on the market so there is that too, but its not realistic in all periods though I do think it is currently.

Its possible I would trade in the kitchen for the gourmet food, but I also like cooking and wish I had more time to do it normally so if I spent 3 hours a day cooking and eating with a realistic chance to become a good chef in 5-10 years and another 8-12 on the stock market with some sports or movies to kill free time I think I'd be pretty happy.
