So far the only people in SE that I can remember complaining about my posting are you and wa.ter.w.alke.r, and only after I insulted each of you. I'll let others judge which crew they would rather roll with in this scenario.

There are times to back out of an argument because it is simply the wiser route to take, regardless of whether or not you are correct. This is one of those times. As a whole, I think people are too hard on you, but you do bring some of it on yourself. I believe if you actually follow your decision to still post in SE but less frequently, and combine that with a less confrontational posting style you will get a much better reception around these parts.

AJ: I went to a combo of Michigan (due to Katrina) and Tulane. My cracks at Minnesota have nothing to do with the school, where it might be ranked, or the quality of its business school and everything to do how bad you are at arguing anything and posting in general. Nobody I know went to Minny.

And yeah, calling people delusional is one of my favorites. Nothing like an insult that can't be proved and, when I deny it, will only be used as further proof.

Everybody is delusional to an extent, so it's a very easy insult to use and very hard to combat, especially given nobody here really knows you.
