It's great, but not quite to the level of Charlie Steiner/Evander Holyfield, Y2K, or the SVP/Mauer commercials.

Willing to bet that 99% of people that don't think Seinfeld is funny were in diapers when it was happening.

I hate Seinfeld and only marginally like Friends because watching sitcoms from when I was in elementary school seems like a waste of my time. So yes, you are correct.

Friends was bad when it was new, it's actually improved with age as I've gotten old and lame.

I think Seinfeld and friends are both funny. Seinfeld more so than friends obviously.

Maybe being nitty, but Seinfeld had live audience laughter, not a laugh track. Pretty big reason why I can tolerate it on that show. And sometimes the crowd response to a joke (like Kramer saying "I'm out," the puffy shirt reveal, etc) actually added to the show a bit. Still would have been better without it, but w/e.

The fake canned laughter that some sitcoms use is the absolute WOAT.

EDIT: I guess "laugh track" can refer to canned or live audience response, but I always thought of it as being canned. Not sure what the point of this post was, oh well.

yeah i'd alternate between being tilted and being amused by his inability to act / keep it together

like did they just never do a lot of takes so that happened, or just not care, or what?
