I am poor and in a beer dead zone so my options are limited, but mercenary double IPA and rogue chocolate stout are the best I've ever tried

Yes. Sell it in 4 packs.

Speaking of Founders, if you are lucky enough to run into KBS, make sure to get some. Do not pass it up.

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, & Beertalk

also, growlers have changed my life. there are currently 3 grocers within 2 miles of me with a combined 16 taps. have been able to try so many beers from outside the distribution area and/or that are never bottled.

its the one thing whole foods is worthwhile for.

What's the deal with the kids on the periphery who are just completely oblivious to a the rest of the student section all dropping fbombs and flipping him off? There's one girl in particular who must be blind/deaf

the guy in that gif just got a t and was forced to retrieve the ball by the ref then no more than a minute later rifled something that was thrown on the court back into his own student section.

****, that is hardcore for pregaming. I would go with Bombshell Blonde for that-- really that one is just a fantastic all-purpose beer that's worth always keeping in stock.

Also, another beer note, my "best beer to pair with a burger" vote goes to Oskar Blues' Mama's Little Yella Pilsner

Re: SE FAQ, Liveblog, & Beertalk

Dogfishhead 60 is pretty awesome but a little pricey and prolly slightly overrated. Haven't had 90 in a while, but I think I prefer 60.

Not a fan of Lagunitas

Glad to see southern tier get some love itt. They have some nice beers.

Lately I've been grindin some IPAs from the Great Divide brewing co. They have a nice selection, def. recommend checking it out if you guys get a chance.

oooo yeah, Great Divide is nice. Dogfish Head 90 is awesome, 120 is just too much for me. I love hopslam though, so who knows?

Lagunitas is sort of overrated imo.

Stone far better. Like just about everything Deschuttes puts out. Haven't been buying beer much though, just some winter beers or stop by some super micro breweries around my work.

Been getting my fill of bourbon/whiskey though.

If you can find their seasonals, give them a try. Especially their vertical epics. I thought their 11.11.11 was one of the best beers I have ever had.
