You can get cuts of meat from a buffalo that are for the most part analogous to what you would get from a cow.

makes sense, but I've never done it. Actually only had buffalo at Ted's Montana Grill. Definitely a few things on that list that I've had <5 times ever.

Go to whichever forum you want to add and in the top right hand corner there is an option to 'Subscribe' to forum

Watching Sopranos for the first time. Almost done with Season 1.

I'm assuming the drama picks up in later seasons. Right now it's definitely solid with the dialogue and story telling etc but missing that intensity.

Kobe beef being #1 is so lol because 99% of meat advertised that way isn't actually Kobe beef.

That would have made me happy, but I think I am probably just ranting about something dumb anyway.

Haven't had Caribou but people missing out on Deer and Elk. Fantastic, lean cuts of meat when done right.

It seriously is awesome, though. As well as deer and elk. Most commonly it's served as a stew-like dish. Meat cut into small shreds, cooked in an oven, possibly with bacon and beer. Served with mashed potatoes and cowberry.

Venison imo. Lean but has a solid amount of flavor. Plus you can kill it yourself so Manliness=9.5

"But I've eaten scallops at many high end places."

This is almost there for a thread title change, just not quite.

Also, alligator and crocodile are both pure trash as meat. Anyone arguing otherwise I will LOL at unless they provide personal proof.

I ate kangaroo twice, once in a restaurant (loin something (?) herb crusted and done rare), and once when it was wild caught and BBQed. I enjoyed both. Cooked rare it wasnt too tough.

I only had the pigeon breast, again cooked relatively rare. The rest of the meat ended in a pate/terrine, that i was unfortunately not present to sample.
