The without practice thing is key. If you've tossed a football around recently it shouldn't be a big deal. But the first few tosses, seems like you need to get your bearings

Is he allowed warmup tosses?

40-45 seems much better than 35

Am I allowed a few practice tosses, or just step up and rip it once?

I've done long toss where I could get one or two throws from end zone (well really 2-3 yard line with a skip) to end zone, so with a football that is at least 15-20 yards, maybe even more!

Alright, I'm back. Weather conditions: 28 degrees, up to 36 mph wind gusts, not ideal. I probably spent around 20 minutes just setting everything up, used a GPS app on my phone to measure out 35 and 50 yards. Hand got pretty damn cold, first throw the ball completely slipped out of my hand and went about 25 yards. Did a few more practice throws and then worked up to about a 45 yarder, that was about as far as I could throw it today, my hands are way too small to get a good grip on the ball when it's this cold out, never could get a good spiral going. Tried to take some video, but I didn't have anyone to hold the camera and I couldn't get a good shot with it resting against a cone, it kept blowing over, oh well. So, 35 yards might be a good line for the very first throw of the day, but I think you'd be a huge underdog if you allow practice throws and do it on a day with a reasonable temperature.

What are your favorite albums to listen to while throwing footballs 35+ yards?

If we're talking a regulation football me thinks people are underestimating how far 35 yards in the air is even for an in-shape D2 athlete or whatever. 35 yards ain't no joke.

I used to throw footballs 35 yards before throwing a football 35 yards went mainstream.

So what's the longest FG SE thinks they can hit? I'm thinkin I can do 45 with a FG tee no rush at 50/50.

45 as in kicking from the 35 yd line?

I suck at kicking, so I'd say I could throw further than I could make a fg
