Was some sort of gas gun right?

Agree with JL being attractive but overrated. Grate actor though.

Gas gun sounds like something The Joker would use.

They probably mean CO2 (gas) airgun which sounds less comical. So it was probably a pellet gun.

He has no experience playing or throwing footballs other than whatever game of toss he's played in his life. He's never practiced this experiment, he just thinks he can do it.

How far can he throw a full sized football in the air? At what distance should it be obvious he can't throw and start to make easy money against?

I would lock bet on myself to be able to throw a football 35 yards. Throwing it with accuracy and velocity is another question, but 35 yards isn't that far

if he isnt delusional and says he can throw it 35 yards then I would assume hes right. If he said 50 then I would think he either has a cannon and knows he can almost certainly or has absolutely no chance in a million years with no inbetween.

i think some ppl might be underestimating how far 35 yds is and how hard it is to throw a football far without practice

hand size is pretty important.. if you have small hands, you might struggle to throw it 35 but if you have normal sized hands and have decent athletic ability, 35 shouldn't be that big of a hurdle

That Flacco toss was more than 55 in the air. Use pythag to figure out true distance. He threw it from the right hash to near the sideline so probably closer to 60.

I can throw a baseball about 220 feet but I've got small hands. No idea how far I could throw an NFL football as I have no idea if I've ever thrown one. I'm almost certain I could throw whatever POS smaller-but-still-kinda-big football I can go buy at Academy 35 yards though. Real NFL size? No idea.

Throwing the pigskin 35 yards can't possibly be that hard. I'll have to try it this summer once the snow MELTS.

Its also a lot easier to throw without full pads on so the in game throws aren't as relevant to this.
