Can we add 'sucking' to the list of bannable offenses? We all joke around in the bad poaster thread calling out the terrible posters hundreds (thousands?) of times and yet these people are still welcome to wank where they please in our wholesome threads and discussions. Why? Because they are not 'technically' breaking any rules? This is stupid and needs to be fixed. Habitual line-steppers of the sucking boundary should be dealt with harshly.

It basically is. I just did a CTRL-F of the OP and counted ~9 instances where "sucking" was the reason cited. The problem with "sucking" is that it's largely subjective so it needs to be pretty obvious and an overall distraction. Also, the hivemind shouldn't be able to dictate bans simply by ganging up on a user.

Anyway, RT is outside of my jurisdiction these days. Which reminds me, this is the one year anniversary of the EPL trainwreck that led to sethypooh being modded. 11/01/09 never forget.

Tuq's being overly dramatic. We just needed a mod, like every other legitimate sport does sans basketball since there are like 10 basketball mods in SE.

Actually, maybe basketball does need 10 mods since TZ drifts back and forth between being AIDS and swine flu.

gameday threads will probably help a lot though.

my participation in that thread has dwindled considerably the past year and a half. Btw, I don't think its gotten worse because I am participating less, I am not that self centered, and maybe my lack of presence has been good (I dunno). But that thread has gotten to the point where it is incredibly difficult to keep up with, constantly regurgitating the same debates, and now treated as a dump for certain people's personal life. Now, to be fair, that alone isn't exactly awful, but its now full of a ton of new people who really really suck. So yeah. I dunno Bobbo, lets return to 08/09 imo?

But yeah, I do think saying the thread needs improvement is a good thing since it brings attention to something that should change. There is nothing that can be done about the high volume and it being hard to keep up with. Unless you are on 2p2 24/7 AND reading TZ, everyone will have a hard time keeping up.
