Pretty sure he's counting REM/Radiohead as too big/mainstream or w/e which is w/e.

Never really liked RHCP. I like Blue better then Pinkerton, but the deluxe Pinkerton has a 3 really good songs as well to add. I'm putting Lonesome Crowded West over Superunknown and crooked rain over blood sugar. Summerteeth over Nevermind as well.

Loveless and OK Computer over the cheats.

Saw The Pixies ~18 months ago and surprised that Black Francis still has a great voice and can hit every note on "Tame."

There's no way REM/Radiohead are too big for a list that includes Nirvana, RHCP, Smashing Pumpkins, etc.

Yeah as a huge =w= fan it is still amazing how bad they have dropped off since Pinkerton. It's really hard to top a 10 song album (blue) in which every song is great, from the first ten seconds of my name is jonas to the epic crescendo of only in dreams. I still listen to this album cover to cover all the time and nothing has topped it. Was also the first album I ever bought. When I was 6 years old I got it for my dad for fathers day and I still remember the store I purchased it at and the moment I first saw it. Kinda weird I guess but nonetheless it has never grown old on me.

Was pretty lucky to see weezer live in 2001 and see them do pink triangle which I guess they never perform. dashboard confessional opened lol.

Pretty sure someone posted a Fugazi album in their top 10. I only have "The argument" and really enjoy it. Anyone know where to go from there?

Fugazi has a different sound on almost every album. My best guess would be to go to End Hits as that is closest to The Argument chronologically. Personally, my favorite Fugazi albums are Steady Diet of Nothing, 13 Songs, and End Hits.

I forgot to add I also had "13 songs" and really enjoyed the "Wugazi" mashup from last year (totally separate I know). Will try End Hits, thanks.

And I don't care if I get slammed for it, but I love Enema of the State. Ridiculously fun and immature.

Dookie probably deserves some acknowledgement, I listened to that album an embarrassing amount when I was in 4th/5th grade

also Smash by The Offspring and Frogstomp by Silverchair speaking of bands that fell off quite a bit

I think i'm the one that had them on my list, and i enjoy most of their work. It's worth listening to them in order to hear how their sound changed from ~1989 to 2002.

13 Songs
Repeater
Steady Diet of Nothing
In On the Kill Taker
Red Medicine
End Hits
The Argument

If you like Fugazi and aren't familiar with nomeansno, i suggest starting in the middle with 0+2=1, Why Do They Call me Mr. Happy?, The Worldhood of the World (As Such) and go earlier or later depending on which part of the timeline you like.
