So I didn't mention anything as I didn't want to cause a ruckus. lol. As a guy who has probably seen every Schaub start, I might have cast my vote for Stafford, but I really don't think Schaub going where he went was at all egregious.

Here are my thoughts/assessment of Schaub. Not saying I'm right but anyway this is basically how I feel about him as a QB. Good and bad:

- He runs this offense extremely well and seems to have a terrific grasp of it. I think he's one of the best QBs Kubiak would want on this team right now. I think they've got a ton of synergy. I think Kubiak wants a guy who won't gunsling, and will just fall in line as a guy steering the ship. Schaub does that very well and doesn't really stray from the game-plan. They never went after Favre, McNabb, or Manning and I know why. Kubiak does not want to deal with those guys, even at the cost of them maybe increasing SB equity. He loves him some Schaub and Schaub makes Gary's job a lot easier imo. With a good script of plays, and a good cast, and Kubiak directing, Schaub can look like a god out there.

- He protects the ball, and is conservative maybe to a fault.

- He is absolutely terrible at running anything close to resembling a 2-minute drill. And I think this flaw will someday be exposed when they get into the playoffs and games are much closer and more important. Again, he's a stormtrooper. Give him a plan and he can follow it. Improvise? Awww hell nahhh.

- He is incredible at the PA pass. He can throw a good deep ball under no pressure, or he'll routinely hit Owen Daniels for like a 20 yard gain, or his third option is a quick dump off to the RB who may pick up a small handful of yards. He's really, really, good at the PA, big field offense and so this team is probably one of the best he could be on.

- As good as he (and Gary) are at the big field offense, they are a sack of AIDS with a small field (in the red zone/goal line). Always have been. They almost never run slants and almost never run fades. It's basically put two tight ends on the field and try to find one over the middle. Or run, run, pass, kick. It's abysmal. And infuriating. Their offense when they have a big field to work with is probably a 9/10. Goal line is like a 2/10.

- Schaub is really slow and gets hurt fairly often I guess.

- He is an accurate passer. He's got a strong arm but I wouldn't say it's a quick release. Probably why PA is where he makes his money.

- The offense immediately looked better when Schaub got here to replace Carr. Whatever that means.

- I guess he's not a diva or anything. I think he's pretty low-key. No idea what kind of vocal leader he may or may not be on the sideline as they never really show him. I basically think of him as a stormtrooper who is really good at what Gary (Vader) tells him to do.

- I think I touched on everything I wanted to. I'm sure nath can add or subtract from this list as he sees fit - I think he watches all Texans games as well.

- Ultimately, my big concern with Schaub when ranking him against his peers, is that on many other teams (almost all of them) I think he looks worse and more of his flaws are unearthed. I think it's hard to assess him because he doesn't HAVE to throw slants for Houston to win games. He doesn't HAVE to throw the fade for them to win. 2-minute drills aren't mandatory that often. And as others have said we've always seen him with at least one of the following: An elite WR, TE, or RB. Usually all 3. I think if you tested Stafford on all 32 teams, he would look better on more teams in 2012 than Schaub would. That's kind of how I'm interpreting this vote.

Pink Floyd is easily the band/artist I have been listening to the most the past two years.

Recently heard this for the first time a week ago and I think it rules:

I have been finding myself listening to DSOTM, The Wall, Animals, Shine On.., over and over recently, but they have so many cool albums, live stuff too. You sort of zone out and time flies by when listening to them. Helps a lot if you have a boring desk job, put on your head phones and just shut everything out lol.

If Assani gets a thread to stroke off RGIII, PHB should get a thread to bitch about his team's QB

Edit: ****, forgot about the Flacbert thread. If we give them to mediocre and injury-prone guys, Schaub needs a thread to lol at him in.

Clark's at his best when he's soapboxing/high-horsing, claiming to ban all hatespeech "that he sees", then letting over 100 instances of "LOL Black Chilly" and "LOL Mexican Chilly" slide.

There are far more racist things that were said in the GDT than that. I don't see calling coaches "Mexican Chilly" or "Black Chilly" offensive.

As a half-Mexican/half-Black guy, you must be an authority on the subject.

HEY THIS GUY IS A BAD COACH JUST LIKE CHILLY AND THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS HIS BLACK SKIN LETS CALL HIM BLACK CHILLY INSTEAD OF JUST ****TY COACH HAHAHAHAHHAHAAA.

SE mods continually letting "black chilly" and "mexican chilly" go is indescribably bad. I think they just allow it because Pudge says it. It's really offensive though. Should not in any way be tolerated.

Aenima is probably their best album I guess. Lateralus is such an amazing song though.
