yeah la confidential was the nuts. also i think it's inglourious basterds that i had the biggest problem on meb's list, what a love letter to himself that was by tarantino. some v cool stuff in that movie, but what a [censored] stupid plot

I recently read The Hobbit again for the first time in several years and its incredibly juvenile in comparison (not taking a shot at you either).

To me the two works aren't even comparable, but maybe you prefer the lighter read.

I'm pretty sure one of these days I'm going to make an Edited Bible where I just cut out all the genealogy stuff and try to make it into a coherent narrative. Would be awesome if done correctly but ridiculous time consuming and I would probably get murdered. Well I would definitely get murdered if I did an edited Koran as a sequel.

I actually thought about that for a while at one point. Probably has something to do with it being one of the first novels I read, so in my life and it's content it's like going back to a simpler/more innocent time.

I have a theory that Denzel only read the first 10 pages of the script to Philadelphia and was like "Aw sheeeeeeeeeittt I'm a badass lawyer, bitch!" Then he got on set and he was like "Oh what the ****, I have to show some compassion and defend this queer dude with AIDS? What the ****, god dammit" but was already contracted to do the film.
