if he does go by nayth instead of nate IRL, that's bizarre but to each his own

relating to the screen name, when pronouncing it, i could not give two ****s about what one's IRL name is, and it shouldn't matter anyway since the only time it's being pronounced is inside people's heads as they're reading the forum

Basically this. It's not like I'd tell him to get his **** together and stop mispronouncing his own name if we met face-to-face but I'm not going to read it in some obscure way in my own head either.

nath is just a name, so whatever.

Colin is an old ass name that's been KAH-lin for 1000s of years, though it so confused people from the south they started spelling it with 2 LLs. these would be the same people who probably say gif(t).

jif is not an obscure pronounciation. if i could set up a pole of the top 100 linguists/english language experts/whatever field is most appropriate here, where they were asked how to pronounce gif, i'd expect 90+% to answer "jif." I've discussed this with Kenneth. I would back up a lot of money if an unbiased, legit pole could be set up for this.

Call in is obviously correct.

Also some fuel panel is causing my flight to Vegas to sit at the gate right now. Not a good look. Id rather risk it than wait. I mean we are going to vegas after all so lets gamble.

Also I took a really bad beat on this flight already. Some guy wanted to sit by his wife so he offered his first class seat to a really hot, tall stripper (90+% sure) chick that was going to be sitting beside me.

He's a 50ish year old consultant flying with his wife and I have an exit row so probably not too whipped unless he starts drinking later or they dont talk. It's a 4.5 hr flight from ATL so if they talk it kinda makes sense. I told him I would've paid for it and that he needs to be auctioning those off.
