I think Hollywood needs to spend about $5 Billion and go back and re-make all movies with a key black actor who wasn't Samuel L. Jackson, with Samuel L. Jackson. I mean they need to right this wrong. There was like six decades of movies with sound that were mistakenly cast with guys like Sidney Poitier and Don Cheadle.

Lethal Weapon, as Murtaugh: "I'm too old for this mother****in' ****"

Field of Dreams, as Terence Mann: "People will come, Ray. Got dammit people will mother****in' come. They'll come from all over Ray. Get this mother****in' corn outta here so people can come, Ray!"

Philadelphia, as Joe Miller: "Yeah they fired my client because he got da AIDS, and I hope they burn in hell!!!"

Star Wars, as Vader: "Luke, I am your got damn motha ****in' father. Get these mother****in' wookies off my ass."

Shawshank, as Red: "I'd like to think that the last mother****in thing that went through the warden's got damn head, other than that mother****in bullet, was how the hell Andy Dumother****infresne got the got damn best of him. Now get these mother****in shackles offa my ass naow!"

Goodfellas, as Stacks: Oh wait that was Sam Jackson

Forrest Gump, as Bubba: "Dey shrimp scampi, shrimp cocktail, shrimp gumbo, shrimp mother****in salad, whatchu say, Forrest? You wanna join me and get those mother****in shrimp off that mother****in' shrimpin' boat and sell those got damn things to people whose hungry? No? **** you then! Get outta my got damn seat I ain't finna share this bus seat with yo lazy non-entreprenuerial-spirited ass!"

In a strange turn of events, Fargo gets remade with Sam as Margie: "Mr. Lundegaard I'm lookin' for a tan got damn Sierra. How do you know you don't have it on the lot. I mean, how do you know. Show me the inventory sheet of these got damn tan Sierras. Oh dontcha got damn know... oh jeez he's fleein the interview jeez noo he's fleein' the got damn interview."

Happy Gilmore as Chubbs Peterson: "It's awll in the hips, it's awll in the hips. It's awll in those got damn non-rhythm havin' white boy hips. Got damn don't get mad sucka I'm just easin' the tension baby, just easin' the tension. Now hit these got damn golfballs off these mother****in tees."

Never seen SLJ enjoy a role as much as this one. And that's saying something.

Samuel L. Jackson as Terrence Mann would be so great. Especially when Costner comes back into the apartment pretending to have a gun. He could do the whole Ezekiel passage again.

Conan is great. The BFG was my favorite book as a kid, along with The Phantom Tollbooth.

Django was good, not great. Highly entertaining, but Django's character and his relationship to his wife was very poorly developed.

Pulp Fiction > Reservoir dogs > Inglorious > Kill Bill > Django > Jackie Brown > lol death proof

this is a pretty interesting point and i'm trying to figure out how much i agree

django was supposed to be full of panache but instead just carried himself w/ quiet confidence. is that on QT or was django never intended to be adored by the audience? i don't get how the 3 top supporting characters were dynamite, but the main character was so bleh.

It's probably a homage to those 60's-70's spaghetti westerns
