Get dropped off, it's ****ing freezing. Standard. Walk into the stadium and it's just ugly concrete and really generically designed vendors everywhere. Get to our seats and I look up and notice like half the seats aren't even lit, so the upper levels look like the Elephant Graveyard from Lion King, making the occupants of those seats drunken hyenas. The crowd is just ridiculously quiet even when the Falcons have the ball and often on third down as well, just really pathetic. Ford Field itself does the team no favors as it's basically just a big box of a warehouse with some stands and a field inside.
Got most of my laughs when they had one of those dumb race promotions for 25% off at some restaurant or something and the mascot representing the club and suite levels won. For some reason I just pictured all these blue collar auto workers in the upper levels who might actually use that discount getting jobbed while all the suits in the suites won the prize when they probably weren't even paying attention. Near the end of the game some drunk guy behind me went on an epic rant of being tired of the Lions bull**** for about 10 minutes, and then that guy took a knee at the 4 yard line on the kickoff. He just exploded, it was pretty great. Conclusion: Ford Field sucks, Lions fans are pathetic, and lol Lions of course.
Megatron breaking the record was pretty cool, although the congratulatory video from Jerry Rice was weird when they were losing by a ton.
