In other news are professors allowed to change the terms of the syllabus without emailing people?

Do I have any recourse if the syllabus we were given had attendance as 10% of the grade but at the end of the semester for whatever reason it is now 25%

I got a zero in it so my grade is not looking very good despite 2 low A's on the midterm/final and another A on the group project that was the other part of our grade. I can't imagine much sympathy from the professor and I know it is pretty rude to never go to class except when you have to but I mean if you are going to put everything online and make going to class useless I am kind of mad

For all you know, the prof handed out an updated syllabus on like the 2nd or 3rd day of class.
