a big part of what makes politards so lolworthy is you treat matters that might actually be important the same way we treat sports

Also it's hilarious how SEers are like "lol at politards blowing up full ****** about this" and then posting the most obviously ******ed **** from twitter as if it's news.
wahhhhhhhhhh wahhhhhhhhhhhh my name is pvn and I'm a butthurt politard.

SE, like OOTV, was created because threads were cluttering the discussion in OOT. Politards forum was created because most right-thinking people don't want their internet experience ruined by political discussion and prefer it quarantined in one place, preferably far away.

Politards forum is the Hamsterdam of 2+2.

lol, I've read the politards forum plenty before. It's 1) the same 15-20 guys nitting each other to death and 2) Fly calling everyone a racist.

There, I just saved IRM ten minutes of his life.

on the one hand pvn has a point, but on the other, i think many of the 'long term' SE arguments have been decided. there are still plenty of disagreements, but on the bigger questions most of the forum sees eye to eye. that is not the case in politards - it's just a bunch of people yelling past each other.

edit: and yeah, we don't. continue the favorite comedy movies plz

so watch one episode a night. it's too dense for marathoning anyway if you've never seen it before imo.

yeah but for every other GOAT show ive watched its been impossible for me to just watch one ep at a time. I have hbogo on the xbox so every episode is at my fingertips and it is difficult to quit once i am hooked.

I think Deadwood benefits vs The Wire and The Sopranos because it was cancelled during its peak. The Wire/Sopranos were allowed to drag on until the writers ran outta steam, we can all agree that in both those cases the final season was worse than the first 3.

First 3 seasons only: Wire > Sopranos > Deadwood.

I remember enjoying it but at the same time thinking "what the **** just happened" after every episode. I also have never rewatched it.

so in summary, it's only like 10 episodes right, go for it

I'm pretty MAD that part of the news cycle re: the tragedy included representations that the assault rifle wasn't even used. Turns out that's not true. I don't even know if I think that was intentional / political or not, but I'm very perturbed.

+++++

Sopranos ending was pretty marginal. Who cares about moral ambiguity or interpretive license? Finish the tale, like the rest of the show.
