Blimpy Burger and Ashley's I think are the 2 places that Clark went to, and they're great options. Blimpy is moving soon so there's some uncertainty there, it's a must see in Ann Arbor. Ashley's has an awesome beer selection.

Angelo's is a great breakfast place which might be worth a visit if you have time. Maize and Blue Deli is a good visit too.

If you're going in the near future and the schedule works out right, I'd recommend going to a basketball game. Team is #3 in the country and the arena has just undergone a ~$50M renovation

went to Zingerman's on my only trip to Ann Arbor because you "have to go there." Was confirmed mediocre food at best at ridiculous prices for a city like Ann Arbor.

Can't say I totally disagree with this. I've only been to Zingerman's twice so I don't have a great selection of it. Maize and Blue is a very solid deli option at much more affordable prices. Quality is good for the midwest but isn't quite as good as famous NYC Delis.

Agree. They do have great bread though, I'd recommend going to get some bread but their prices are ridiculous for the quality otherwise.

Zingerman's is something you have to try. Ashley's and Angelos are the places I've been to about a million times.

Blimpy is a place I lived a block from, walked by everyday, and essentially never ate there (nor did my roommates).

yea, I just went for lunch with my gf at the time and she retroactively tried to justify it by the quality of the bread. I was also terrified I was going to knock down a shelf of stuff in glass cans the whole time I was in there. the space is so tight for how many people are in there.
