Its gotten worse. Everyone thats posted in that thread more than once or twice needs their head examined.

apologies in advance for invading this stronghold of SE illuminati, but who rly cares if there's some pre-series trolling going on in the NLCS thread? why would you possibly want to ban anybody over it?

it certainly can't out-tard an NFL gameday thread:

Russ M: "CJ2K beasting"
Quicksilvre: "CUTLAHHHHHHHHH"
sportsjefe: "and the field goal is good! 3 more points for [team that everybody is already watching]!"
Russ M: "CJ2K GOATing"
20 different douches trying to be funny: "this Peyton Manning guy is pretty good at football."
Needle: "boohoo Jags blah blah cry cry Mike Pelfrey"

<repeat for 10 pages each week>

what else do people expect with in-game posting? it's going to be bad (but hopefully fun), or non-existent (if we start banning people for sucking or something). i don't really see any other way. just hopefully there's better posting going on before and after games, with interesting analysis that is worth reading.

Being a dick and specifically trolling is completely different. I attempt to be respectful to all people and I don't understand why thats so hard. Everyone seemingly in that thread does not understand that.

Game day threads are for immediate reactions and emotion, basically the core of sports. Trolling is something people do for personal entertainment at the determent to others and thats not alright. But thanks for letting me know I'm emo. I appreciate that.

What about "Tilt"? I had one of those a while back and I think it was 12%, but it was only 16oz, so it's basically considered healthy. Impressive design as well, complete with calligraphy and a striking coat-of-arms featuring two battling dragons. I felt refined and erudite as I drank it.

Simmons, NBA owners/VIPs, Bill Gates, and Judge Scalia must have loved reading the past 24 hours of their favorite Internet thread.

In Gates's and Scalia's cases, they are probably gnashing their teeth that such extraordinary intellects went into poker instead of programming, business, or law. Still, they do have to acknowledge that poker would attract every critical thinker in the world if those people really knew about it.

well, obv the material went way over the heads of simmons and nba owners. im sure gates and scalia appreciated our refined logic, critical thinking and awareness, and will incorporate more poker ideas and former players into their businesses and decision making trees.

They have conquered their professions, made millions, and will go down in the history books.

What's left? Seeing how you stack up with the very elite this world has to offer.

Where can you find a group of these world elites? The best of the best? MIT? Harvard? Government think tanks?

TZ bitches!
