My first Turning Stone trip was Spring of 07. Went there prob 4-5 times total, wasn't there in the original 2p2 days before anybody knew each other at all.

Later trips just basically turned into playing golf during the afternoon, grinding online at night, then playing Chinese at Emerald until 4AM.

I grinded stst pre- black friday and me not being ******ed. I quit poker after like 6 months after I realized that there was nothing in it for me WRT my main body of knowledge, skills, and time.

but i do love poker as a fun game and for taking advantage of me idiotic friends/acquaintances (yes, ive won many $$$ off my friends and don't feel sorry at all for them being stupid)

Yeah I think we met a couple times. Back in the good ol' days when AGame was the loudest mouth in the room.

Overall I'm just thankful I didn't quit my degree to play full time when I was 19 years old. Definitely considered it, but having a degree was the only reason I have anything close to the job I currently have.

I've always wondered what the se'ers played pre bf and how they fared. I obviously know some because I follow mtts pretty closely still but pretty clueless about the cash game world.

I really should buy kenpom, especially since his efficiency #'s rate us higher than everyone else's every year. Just too cheap to pull the trigger - plus I wouldn't use it enough.
