lol, Yuengling is definitely not a hipster thing. My brother-in-law and his teammates used to drink it all the time when he played in PA / NY. Minor league hockey players, the definition of hipster right there.
They're probably just playing minor league hockey ironically
If you have never lived in a state where it is sold and only had it when you're on vacation to the east coast or south, the novelty and nostalgia makes it a unique beer. Its a good day when you walk into a bar after a long day of work and see that its sold where you never expected it, which is why I originally posted it.
Yeah, Yuengling seems roughly analogous to Shiner Bock down here for those purposes.
Shiner Bock has finally made it into this area, and these are my two 'favorite' beers. By which I mean that I don't really like beer. If all the IPAs in the world suddenly exploded I'd be happy
1. RIP Craig "Ironhead" Heyward. Creator of one of the GOAT commercials.
2. Today is a great day because Jerry Sandusky is in jail. Here's to many more great days ahead.

I don't like IPAs, but it's not like I'd gain additional satisfaction from them being removed from the world. In fact I'd likely lose some, because some of my friends would be upset.
This is my go to game watching game at the moment...
Kostritzer German Black Lager. It has some depth and is flavorful yet it still is high in drinkability. I pick it up at my local Total Wine and More. I also must say that TWM is the GOAT alcohol emporium. It's like BevMo but better.
