Golf forum basically got to the point of, why bother?

It was either bother with BO (put him on ignore) ... then bother with the onslaught of others arguing with BO, and between that and the new randos coming in and trolling about Tiger every week, it got to the point where posting about golf was basically the last thing that was happening in that forum

I've said in the past that not getting rid of the randoms lacking posting ability was a mistake on my part. BO and NXT seem to be fine posters when T.ig.e.r W.oo.d.s is left out of the equation, but both go off the wall crazy when a GOAT discussion is sparked by a user with 250 posts instead of merely going about their business.

Oh. Yeah, it's not a coincidence that the people who rage against nitBO are the worst posters in the forum. Note that none of the regs who know the game have an issue with him. He could stand to do less trolling and more ignoring though, but it can be kind of hard when he has phb following him from thread to thread trying to pick a fit like some little yippy poodle.

Whether you know something or not is meaningless if you're unwilling to share it and instead just bitch and moan, which is basically your M.O. If you stopped posting in that forum (maybe you already have) it would not be a loss.
