1k sample size is plenty if the sample is representative of the relevant population, going to say 10k or 100k will only decrease the margin of error a very small amount.

One of my wife's classmates in her Ph.D program is an Ole Miss alum. I've heard him talk about how wonderful Ole Miss is and how much he loves it at least a dozen times. I don't know what to say to him without being a total ******* so I just nod.
