in my world the media's coverage is proportional to the strength of the storm and provides actual useful info rather than making news out of false message board reports, Bob in AC getting blown against the side of a storefront to prove that there's wind, and shirtless guys running down the street with a horse head mask on

when you have 24 hour media coverage, some of it is going to be false or repetitive - it's hard to get information sometimes. glad to see you still watched just to register how overblown it is
