saw 7 psychopaths today. Good flick. Sam Rockwell is awesome and underutilized in Hollywood.

Went two 3 different bars and clubs tonight where at least 75% of people were dressed in halloween costumes. Only saw 1 PSY! I could not believe it. It must be really really hard to find one of those blue tuxedo jackets or something. There were a lot of people in blackface though which is surprising.

It's amazing to me not that certain friends are voting for Mitt (I'm undecided), but it's that they "like" him on Facebook.

It takes virtually no effort to like anything on facebook.

Yeah, but man..........I can get how someone thinks Mitt is a better candidate, but people like him enough to "like" him? He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy that people get real passionate about in terms of their support. He seems a lot more like a "not the other guy" kind of candidate.

Well, first off, 60%+ of the country will end up liking whoever is their party's candidate. Furthermore, I take a facebook 'like' to be a little different than 'liking' something IRL. It's a way to stick something to your profile more than a expression of 'liking'.

That could be just me though.

without getting into his merits, a lot of people like whatever candidate their party nominates regardless of his qualifications, the same way they root for their favorite sports team regardless of who is on the team

C'mon Clark, you're not an undecided. I hope to god you mean you are undecided about whether you are voting third party. Nobody who is undecided between the two main guys is capable of posting with reasonable grammar and spelling without any epithets. Don't ruin my entire worldview.

Disagree. Reagan, Clinton, Bush II, Obama inspired passion and people really liked them.

Bush I, Gore, Kerry and I believe Mitt really don't.

I'm most likely Obama, with small shots at Mitt or 3rd party.

I have significant personal interest in voting for Mitt - over 4 years the difference between Mitt and Barry is likely to be a ton of money to me. That's hard to totally write off, despite the fact that in terms of social liberty and foreign policy it's pretty obvious to me that Obama >>>> Mitt.
