Over the years I have been to Cardinals games against just about every opponent in the league. Saints fans were wasted and trying to fight people but were too drunk to really get a good brawl going so they pretty much just got dragged out by security.

Raiders fans on the other hand could land a punch and they were pretty clearly there to fight someone, even if it was another Raiders fan. Scared out of my mind.

I watch videos like this and just wonder why those people aren't smrt like me? For the price of 1/2 a beer at an NFL stadium I get RedZone for a month. I probably won't go to another Steelers game for this reason. Oh, you've been drinking Apple Pie Moonshine since 7AM? Let's be friends!

Tuq speaks truth. Raider fans are no joke and all the mythology surrounding that place is for real. Only stadium I've ever been in with real security. As in, they had a fully armored SWAT officer at the top of every single aisle. It was amazing.

ESPN did a nice job with this, although most of you probably don't remember it:

http://espn.go.com/mlb/feature/momen...92-nlcs-game-7

Hard to believe it has been twenty years since that happened. I was working a produce aisle and had brought a radio out on the floor to listen to the bottom of the 9th. When the radio announcer said Bream was safe I jumped up and yelled and scared the **** out of some old broad standing nearby.

About as much as recent Cardinals elimination games, for 8 2/3 innings that game had the dreadful feeling of an inevitable loss. Drabek was dealing and the Braves couldn't get anything going, just completely stymied. Games like that are what make baseball playoffs >>>> any other playoffs.

That was a Montana-to-Clark moment. The Braves would be good for a really long time after that, the Pirates haven't had a winning season since.

Also, the Sean McDonough call on TV was supermegaelite, although I didn't hear it until later.

then they got hammered by the Blue Jays. remember the Blue Jays?

pretty good run there with them winning in '92 & '93, then the Expos were gonna win in '94 so Selig cancelled the season.

I remember a team in Canada winning with a bunch of American players. Kind of like bizarre-o hockey. Wasn't happy about either one but at least Dave Winfield and Paul Molitor finally got rings so that part was OK.

I always found it a little funny that Atlanta had such a ridiculous run during the 90s but could only seal the deal the one year they ran into a team even more star-crossed than them

Native American curses ftw

I have played a fair amount of pickup basketball with Devon White. One time I asked him, wasn't game 5 of the 1986 ALCS the most incredible game you were ever a part of? Well that was a ******ed question for a number of reasons, including that he won three titles elsewhere and that his team lost that game in about the most painful fashion possible. It was however the greatest game in the history of postseason baseball so the question wasn't totally without merit. He looked at me like wtf and said no. We're still bros though.

i didn't see any point in that video where any of the males didn't have an 'end this game' typa shot. like, literally, ALL OF THEM could have stopped it at any time.

the guy who broke up the two girls...i'm assuming (hoping) that neither was at all related/known to him, because in that scrum whichever was NOT the person with me....a quick 'no-no-no' wouldn't have been out of order. haha

funny how that mindstate comes back quickly when you see a video like that.

well, i mean, i'm "used to like fighting in his teens/early 20's" guy, and while i don't go out looking for that particular type of stupid ****, if i'm any one of those guys, i'm not at all backpedaling.

that said, i'm also pretty good at talking people down (lotta practice at school LDO) and i think i coulda done that (w/o having any clue of why they were fighting in the first place or how bad the ****-talking was), but again, just watching, none of those males knew what the **** they were doing. lotta grabbing and grappling and whatever.

if my wife is the reason that's going on, (lol wiper internet tough guy you're a lolteacher) i'm pretty sure i'm wrecking those two main people.

i'll stop now. people talking about fighting on the internet is LDO unbelievable. i'm just saying.
