People surely stopped naming their kids Agnes at least like 75 years ago. They gotta be on the verge of extinction.

I have a friend from law school whose first name is Agnes. She obv went by her middle name, but once I learned of her real first name I never deviated from calling her by it, to the point of correcting or just not pretending who I knew who people were talking about until they called her Agnes. It caught fire and she reverted to using it more in profession situations, on fb, etc. I feel accomplished.
