fwiw only the model with the hard drive is backwards compatible.

and since i know someone is gonna say "why would you buy a 360 without a hard drive" you can buy the $200 edition and a ~$40 aftermarket hard drive and the only thing you will lose is backwards compatibility.

was involved in a somewhat head-on collision today with a ford f-350

very thankful to walk away injury free, just a ton of bruising and soreness

here's the corner in question

https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&l...,270,,0,0&z=16

that's from my view, and funny enough there is a truck coming the other way

basically picture him coming right on over

also note the bent sign on the right

that corner is dangerous, ive seen similar accidents there before

I got a giant goddamned crack in my windshield today, went inside somewhere for a couple of hours, came out and it went from nonexistent to 3+ feet long. Thanks to D104 I don't feel so badly about it!

Also, love my XBox, use it for Netflix, HBO Go, Amazon Instant Video, plus all the usual uses. Although I assume that PS3 has all those apps too in which case that's a wash. Don't care about the (lack of) blu-ray player.

Yeah that this point they are more or less the same. PS3 is a little more reliable on the online is nicer (and free-er if things haven't changed) but the XBox online community is more full.

Decide whether you like MLB The Show (PS3) or Halo (Xbox) more and buy that one.

Or, super secret 3rd option, but an N64 and look at the games drafted in our video game draft thread. Buy them.

d104, I'm assuming you took care of all the insurance **** pronto? Just a friendly reminder to read anything related to the accident carefully before you sign it, and maybe have a friendly lawyer look it over first. If you're lucky, it will obviously be the other guy's fault, and your insurer will kick in money and then ask you to subrogate your claims to them and they can deal with it.

+1 to glad to hear you're ok.

Well hopefully this is the type of accident that is pretty cut-and-dried: guy hit him on his side of the road etc.

But yeah, can't be too safe when dealing with insurance obv.
