Movies, TV shows and music imo

money doesn't really get passed around to blue collar workers in those industries like it does in manufacturing, however.

That's true, the entertainment industry is still kicking ass, and if you can get in with Hollywood you can make ****loads of money

I don't think your typical university prepares students for that kind of life, though

hey tuq, how was it in the old days?

did universities (esp. private ones) always have exorbitant tuitions?
Sporting Events FAQ, Liveblog, and BANGERS Quote

My former university used to index its tuition to the consumer price index and it was considered the best educational bang for its buck in America

The new president took over in 2004 and changed that, and tuition has doubled since then even as the economy as gone in the toilet, and that doesn't include all the extra fees the school has started hitting up students for

He also sold a 40-year-old radio station that was one of the most culturally influential and diverse in the state (and possibly America, depending on whether or not my friends who used to be involved in the music direction / programming were exaggerating) for $10 million, or half of what he plans to spend on renovating the football stadium for a team that goes 4-8 in conference USA every year

There's been a big push lately to run universities like they're businesses, which means the bottom line trumps all and providing a quality education, a culturally diverse experience, or preparing the students for the job market means **** as long as you've hit them up for that paper already

TWBB is the most overrated movie of all time. Yeah the last 20 minutes or so are great, but the entire movie before that is a boring slog.

Would not watch again

edit: NCFOM on the other hand is excellent

The Dark Knight Rises is rated an 8.8 on IMDB. There is a total of 8 movies with a higher rating than that.

This is why you're a poor man's Nath.

Radiohead is on top; last 3 episodes of Louie ****ing weird and towards bottom. TWBB continues to be massively overrated (not DDL's best), and Magnolia was a terrific film.
