Damn man, 50? What does that go for these days? Even 20 is a lot, that's basically for 2+ people unless they are under 25 and/or have the metabolism of jackrabbits.

Dudd may be on to something though about the metric system.

my go to spot for wings (nine eleven tavern). note: the place opened in the 80s and the nine eleven is named for the two buildings that they joined together

lol, 50 is what you'd order for a party or something. aka a "bucket of wings."

i usually split a single (10) and fries with a friend. i can eat more but wings certainly fall under the category of diminishing returns imo.

nate,

Those look pretty damned good but I'm afraid to comment further lest we reopen the played out wings vs. flats or (worse) ranch vs. blue cheese debates. To each his own.

I'm indifferent between drums and flats, but it tilts me to hell how much meat people leave on those bones. You strip it clean or you get the **** out

I'm a flats-ranch guy, but I think the only thing that really matters is that you don't get boneless "wings"

As long as everyone understands the value of crispy skin, I think we can all go home happy (except for those ranch heathens)
