Well.... let me tell you. You see first of all INTs only count -1 point in standard scoring, so while it hurts it really not that big of a deal. Second, HELLO! Did you miss the part where I had the ATL kicker, Field Goal city! Finally, I am not sure if you are aware of this, but when teams get behind far, they tend to throw alot, so I knew Peyton had a good chance to put up big numbers, if he could just combine with Demaryious for those numbers, then I would be set. Rest of 1st half was kinda of boring, so will skip the details for your sake until the final drive.
From around the 30 yard line, Peyton throws a strike from to Demaryious for a TD, SHIPSHIPHOLLADOLLA. Wat, he dropped it, how the **** can you do that? I mean sure he got leveled, but does he not understand how important that touchdown was? But a couple of plays later, REDEMPTION BABY, another TD! WHAT<DFAFEFEF< you didn't stay in bounds? OMG, christ. Wait its up for review? CMON, cmon, cmon................s................a..... YYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS a DOUBLE TOUCHDOWN baby!
2nd half, The SHERIFF continues to do his thing, grinding, grinding, but ATL held on to the ball for a while, which would be fine except they scored a TD, not a FG, aaaaaarggghhh. Beginning of the 4th quarter, the Sheriff starts putting on a show, gunslinging right and left. Amazing stuff, pretty sure I wet myself. Its gonna happen and it all starts now, I can feel it in my bones. Grinding, grinding, he gets them to the 12 yd line. Throw it baby! Then one McGahee run, fine, nice, nice just setting them up. Two McGahee runs, c'mon man, fine, fine just setting them up. But just fling it to Thomas for christsakes! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT false start on Thomas????? They were about to throw him a jump ball, and he ****ed it up?????? Goddamn, know they aren't going to throw it to him now. Just, get a Peyton TD to someone else to make it closer. ANOTHER McGahee run, **** is going to score.... nvm, yes DOWN at the 2 yard line. ZOMG, another McGahee run and he gets in this time, kill yourself Peyton.
Couple of drives later, the Sheriff is at it again. Bobbing and weaving his way down to the goalline. This time I really have no other option, it HAS to be to Demaryious, a regular Peyton TD just doesn't move the needle much. First and goal at two, first play is a pass to Decker that he was interfered with, thank God cuz 1) it stopped him from scoring the TD and 2) if they had called it they prob just run it in with McGahee from the 1. 2nd down, a freaking run with McGahee, but luckily he is stuffed. Now here is the most exciting part of the whole game. Can see Peyton looking Demaryious's way, omg think it might happen. He cuts and looks open, Peyton sees him, he winds back. Omg, omg, omg, its gonna happen. Begins to throw the ball, still looks open..... omg, omg, gonna complete the comeback with a DOUBLE TOUCHDOWN baby! What? No, No, No. What is that safety doing there, and how can the ball possibly get to him? As you all know, Peyton saw the safety and threw the ball way too high and Demaryious never had a chance. Big time bummer. Had one more chance but you knew he wasn't going to Demaryious again so kinda anti-climactic. McGahee runs it in for a TD, whoopdedoo, who gives a f?
Peyton could get one more chance with a Falcons stop, but it was all a long shot so won't bore you with the details. ATL got a first down and that was that. In the end, lost by 8 points.
Anyway, thanks for listening guys. Glad to get that off my chest, been on my mind and knew you guys would find it as interesting as I did.
