Man I was down 40 some points and had Peyton, Demaryious Thomas and ATL kicker. Not much hope. Didn't really think I had a chance until the first quarter got under way. Now you may be thinking, wait a second, didn't Peyton throw not one, not two, but THREE INTs in the first quarter? How could the hell could that make you think you had a shot. Well.... let me tell you. You see first of all INTs only count -1 point in standard scoring, so while it hurts it really not that big of a deal. Second, HELLO! Did you miss the part where I had the ATL kicker, Field Goal city! Finally, I am not sure if you are aware of this, but when teams get behind far, they tend to throw alot, so I knew Peyton had a good chance to put up big numbers, if he could just combine with Demaryious for those numbers, then I would be set. Rest of 1st half was kinda of boring, so will skip the details for your sake until the final drive.

From around the 30 yard line, Peyton throws a strike from to Demaryious for a TD, SHIPSHIPHOLLADOLLA. Wat, he dropped it, how the **** can you do that? I mean sure he got leveled, but does he not understand how important that touchdown was? But a couple of plays later, REDEMPTION BABY, another TD! WHAT<DFAFEFEF< you didn't stay in bounds? OMG, christ. Wait its up for review? CMON, cmon, cmon................s................a..... YYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSS a DOUBLE TOUCHDOWN baby!

2nd half, The SHERIFF continues to do his thing, grinding, grinding, but ATL held on to the ball for a while, which would be fine except they scored a TD, not a FG, aaaaaarggghhh. Beginning of the 4th quarter, the Sheriff starts putting on a show, gunslinging right and left. Amazing stuff, pretty sure I wet myself. Its gonna happen and it all starts now, I can feel it in my bones. Grinding, grinding, he gets them to the 12 yd line. Throw it baby! Then one McGahee run, fine, nice, nice just setting them up. Two McGahee runs, c'mon man, fine, fine just setting them up. But just fling it to Thomas for christsakes! WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT false start on Thomas????? They were about to throw him a jump ball, and he ****ed it up?????? Goddamn, know they aren't going to throw it to him now. Just, get a Peyton TD to someone else to make it closer. ANOTHER McGahee run, **** is going to score.... nvm, yes DOWN at the 2 yard line. ZOMG, another McGahee run and he gets in this time, kill yourself Peyton.

Couple of drives later, the Sheriff is at it again. Bobbing and weaving his way down to the goalline. This time I really have no other option, it HAS to be to Demaryious, a regular Peyton TD just doesn't move the needle much. First and goal at two, first play is a pass to Decker that he was interfered with, thank God cuz 1) it stopped him from scoring the TD and 2) if they had called it they prob just run it in with McGahee from the 1. 2nd down, a freaking run with McGahee, but luckily he is stuffed. Now here is the most exciting part of the whole game. Can see Peyton looking Demaryious's way, omg think it might happen. He cuts and looks open, Peyton sees him, he winds back. Omg, omg, omg, its gonna happen. Begins to throw the ball, still looks open..... omg, omg, gonna complete the comeback with a DOUBLE TOUCHDOWN baby! What? No, No, No. What is that safety doing there, and how can the ball possibly get to him? As you all know, Peyton saw the safety and threw the ball way too high and Demaryious never had a chance. Big time bummer. Had one more chance but you knew he wasn't going to Demaryious again so kinda anti-climactic. McGahee runs it in for a TD, whoopdedoo, who gives a f?

Peyton could get one more chance with a Falcons stop, but it was all a long shot so won't bore you with the details. ATL got a first down and that was that. In the end, lost by 8 points.

Anyway, thanks for listening guys. Glad to get that off my chest, been on my mind and knew you guys would find it as interesting as I did.

I hope you're in more than one fantasy football league because I don't think 11-15 more writeups like that will be enough for me this season.

Glad you brought that up, in alot more, but just chose the best one this week. It gets really interesting when you are in multiple leagues because you need some guys to do well for you in one league but are going against them in another league, so you are like YES!, NO!, nvm overall it was good YES! Balancing act, lol. That is why I try to target the same guys in every draft, ended up with ELIte in over half my leagues because people were sleeping on him. In one league a guy took him 10th overall and everyone laughed at him, can you say REACH? But he threw for over 500 yds this week, so who is laughing now? That made for an ELIte fantasy week for moi. Except in this league I was going against the guy who took ELIte 10th overall, which is what caused me to be so far behind in the first place. Ironic, huh?

Anyway, next week I will try to interweave my leagues, but since this was my first one I decided to keep it simple.

If you do interweave, please let us know. For now, let's call his original post LEAGUE A so we know

how is the rest of your roster in LEAGUE A? Did you win week 1? Very enticing

A chilling tale, a wild roller coaster ride. My emotions ran the gamut and I couldn't wait to see how it all turned out. It was all I could do not to skip to the end.

i was at a sports bar this weekend watching the NFL and some choad says 'awesome! two points' and i turn around expecting to see a replay of a safety but it's just his stupid tight end catching a pass. oh and the dude had a laptop open to his matchup.

jfc fantasy sports are the worst. one thing i will say in their favor is that since i stopped playing them i know way less about who's on what team in the NFL

Fantasy sports are fine. People that don't realize no one else cares about their fantasy team are the worst.

Keep fantasy talk where it belongs, in this thread.

I said this EXACT same thing about Ben Tate and Darren McFadden last week because of how they performed on my fantasy team. Tate scored over 20 on my bench and RunDMC really struggled while starting.

Sucks but I'm never benching DMC in that spot. Gotta roll with the punches man, it's what FFB is all about.

sorry to go all triumph36 about this, but if im not in your league, the odds of me giving a single **** about anything relating to your fantasy team are zero. i mean for me to even start to sort of care you need to be in a 10k buy-in league that also hunts men for sport.

I'm stacked in one of my leagues with Brees at QB, DMC/Lynch/Charles/Spiller at RB, Green/Bryant/Lloyd/Wayne at WR. 8 team league. Reggie Bush also had a great game for me in one of my PPR leagues.
