I was told the same thing by my sister who lives there 10 years ago or so, so I'm guessing that's accurate.

Well, I can guarantee one thing, when CDL gets arrested after the bank job, he's never rolling over on his tammates.

The legend nos1nos2 with perhaps the most fullproof bank robbery scheme ever:

http://archives1.twoplustwo.com/show...fpart=all&vc=1

Quote:
the plan is simple.

The locatin is in bay harbor florida it's a suntrust bank.

get into the bank one man watches the people other gets all the money dont go for the big money just whats easily obtainable put it in some backpacks.

get out in 120 seconds

Bay harbor is a small island with it's own police force with not many cops

get on your 8 second bikes and fly thru the streets till you reach the bridge in Bay Harbor, FL which is approx 1 mile away at the top of the bridge there is bungee cords already hooked up to the bridge hook yourself and take the jump when u get to the bottom unhook yourself.

In the water there is a submarine. Drive the submarine underwater under radar to a safe location and sit there and wait for the heat to die down at a new locatino.

The time it takes them to realize the bank is stolen, where u went, that u plunged into the water. they'd never guess you had a submarine. and even if they did know, it would take a long time for them to get the equipment/manpower to find a submarine underwater.

you win

So he's going to have a group of guys (presumably splitting the pot), a bunch of quality motorcycles, and a goddamn submarine but you're going to pay for that and make a profit by not going "for the big money just whats easily obtainable put it in some backpacks."

Nice, that's nice

I just learned that the guy who arranged on CL to have a bunch of people applying for a job outside of the bank he was robbing dressed in the same way he was who made his getaway via a nearby river with an inner tube was caught like a month later due to DNA evidence left at the scene. I feel crushed. I'm not much of one for thievery but I thought it was pretty brilliant and liked to think he was out there somewhere living a life of leisure on his fat stacks of stolen bank money.

can confirm that I have heard this. Can also confirm that I have never felt even slightly threatened on MARTA and that in my experience it is like the subway in any other city, but it stops a little less often and you usually have no problem getting a seat unless you're going to or from a sporting event.

I don't have any bumper stickers on my car. But I don't think there's anything wrong with them

Bumper stickers are like tattoos for cars. There's nothing "wrong" with them per se, but it's informing total strangers about your politics, or family, or religion, or athletic accomplishments. Why? I don't care about these things. All I care about is that you put your cell phone down long enough to not drive like an idiot or otherwise slow me down on my way to my destination, and I will hopefully do the same for those behind me.

if the summaries are true it's pretty abysmal. the only 2 benefits between the current environment and one with this as law is explicitly legal poker in the us and the player base that comes with it. the downsides are pretty enormous tho

it's unlikely there'll be federal legislation for a long while if this doesn't happen but **** **** **** it all if it does

Those sound like massive benefits. My guess is the downsides will hamper benefit #2?
