Just read a news story about this. They robbed a bank and then were randomly throwing cash out the window while being pursued by cops to try to lure pedestrians and motorists to go for the cash thereby interfering with the cops ability to pursue. Solid strategy or dumb?

I actually think that around the halfway point of season 2 is when Breaking Bad takes the big leap to become really elite (probably around "Peekaboo", episode 6 or 7).

Breaking Bad never did that to me, but I guess I've stopped watching Louie and Wilfred because despite being excellent, they're both so soul crushing that I found myself feeling worse after watching than I liked.

I'm curious what the win % is for the 5-0 in those chase situations. Obviously the ghetto bird takes them from solid favorites to near locks - particularly in the daytime - but there's no way they're batting 1.000. Most criminals are stupid or they'd focus on fleeing towards areas the sky pig can't cover, like in/around airports.

The voiceover for those chase shows is so ******ed I stopped watching a long time ago. It's basically a police infomercial and I end up rooting for the bad guys. That and there's about five minutes of actual compelling footage per 30 minute show.

I feel like you have to manage to get underground long enough to be able to flee the car without the cops on the ground IDing you to have a realistic chance of getting away, there's just too many eyeballs on you otherwise. Either that or flee in one of those hippy jurisdictions that thinks chases are too dangerous, but that doesn't really count.

my dad told me soccer sucked. baseball yo.

then, as i've gotten older i've seen all the parks in the area slowly transform baseball fields into soccer fields.

that said, soccer is awesome. baseball is prob waaaay more fun to play, but if you told me there was a great baseball game coming on and a great soccer match, at this point in my life i'm taking chelsea v man city.

assuming i knew they have already id'd me and i don't have any of those three, i'm probably trying to get a hold of my wife and/or mom. wanna just see them before i turn myself in.

but the difference between 5-10 years and 15-20 years in the moment is negligible. either way my life is over, so as long as i think i have like, a 5% chance of skating (ie not id'd) i'm taking it even if i knew it would add years.
