It's really rare this happens now though. It's worst in South/Central America, and if your casual soccer base is following the USMNT, it's by far the worst when they are playing CONCACAF minnows. No one's going to force you to watch lolsoccer, but in the top leagues diving/flopping as you describe it is very rare. I could go a month or more of watching the EPL without it happening now that Nani and Ashley Young are benched.

no, that comes from watching the last 2 world cups, the women's world cup, and euro 2012. thats about the extent of my soccer watching experience

soccer is boring because the rules make it boring

no substitutions and a huge field means everyone is always tired so most of the time they're walking

to make it more interesting allow free substitution like in hockey and make the field smaller

It's fair to hate a sport, but "people always dive" or "they're always tired" are beyond lies. Much easier to say "I like NBA/NFL/MLB more, don't have time or care enough to watch it" rather then literally making up reasons.

Being good at Women's soccer makes them as good as good 15 year old guys. Congratulations?

but its not like I spend my days watching women's soccer. I watched their semifinal and finals game of the last world cup. Ive spent much more time watching women's curling probably. But it was the USA so i was gonna watch

ive probably also spent more time watching FCS football than I have any sort of soccer, so lolsoccer still.

we wouldn't. soccer is a highly technical game. athleticism matters greatly, but it doesn't compensate for years and years and years of skill.
