Carlson responded by saying that Stewart criticizes news organizations for not holding public officials accountable, but when he interviewed John Kerry, Stewart asked a series of "softball" questions. Stewart, indeed, voted for John Kerry in the Presidential Election of 2004.[39] Stewart responded that he didn't realize "the news organizations look to Comedy Central for their cues on integrity."[40] When Carlson continued to press Stewart on the Kerry issue, Stewart said, "You're on CNN! The show that leads into me is puppets making crank phone calls! What is wrong with you?" In response to prods from Carlson, "Come on. Be funny", Stewart said, "No, I'm not going to be your monkey." Later in the show when Carlson jibed, "I do think you're more fun on your show.", Stewart retorted, "You're as big a dick on your show as you are on any show."

EDIT: It's been obvious for a while that Thremp is awful. I don't know why certain people continue to slurp him. He's arguably the worst poster on 2p2.

We'll do a 3-sport 1980+ draft if this one pulls off successfully.

We should obv do a draft to assemble the best athete. 2 arms, 2 legs, head, etc. Would probably end up fairly hilarious if photoshops were mandatory

I came up with this idea today. A film festival draft. There is a film festival that screens every movie ever and you are a studio head and need to draft the movies.

Can someone who is paying attention (and not named Assani Fisher) chime in on whether that HU draft thread is worth keeping open? I don't really care about the concept but this is about the worst imaginable time to start it - college football, last week of MLB, NFL - and I thought there was some sort of draft waiting list (that evidently nobody pays attention to).

If enough people are enjoying it, fine, but drafts in this forum are like construction in Mexico - someone gets a hard-on, starts it, and then gives up halfway through after the initial thrill wears off and the tedium sets in.

Thanks.

Well if those things more important than nobody will pay attention to the HU thing anyway. It's actually been a pretty fun thread so far. You could maybe just try reading it and deciding? It's not like a Bobbo/Assani blog as the OP kinda seems.

Why over moderate, just let it play out.

Are there really gonna be people like , "OMG ANOTHER DRAFT THREAD IN THE WAY OF OUR FIVE NFL INGAME THREADS PER WEEKEND WHERE PHB AND RIVERMAN CAN POST 500 TIMES THAT SOMETHING WAS SICK OR THE GAME WAS RIGGED"

Who is overmoderating? I was asking people whether it was sucky or not and first-page-worthy, and would make an appropriate decision based on the responses. It could be that locking, deleting, or punting it to French BBV is the optimal play. Hence the question. No, I'm not going to read it either, I'd rather castrate myself with a rusty spork.

Draft fatigue is real, especially when there is only so much front page real estate at the busiest time of the year.

Keep it around for now. I really can't decide if its bad or not, but I am leaning toward it not being m..eb..en//h$oe.
