ya good points, ive definitely heard it irl much before that book as well. Its also kind of bogus though and doesnt take into account individual differences really - whether it be genetic or otherwise.
I had good convos about the book with heels and my psych proofs the last couple days, and we all agreed eventually that the research he does is far from complete and errorless - the selection bias you pointed out is the tip of the iceberg. Theres also a lot of post hoc tests that need to be done in order to truly conclude that his claims are truly valid.
