Now I see. If you are referring to the Norway verdict "only" putting him in prison 21 years, you need to understand under Norwegian law he'll actually never be released. It's just how they phrase things is all.

I mean some of the photos of the cells look like college dorm rooms with bars, sure, but that's a hell to live in for your whole life. Even in US prisons inmates get TV and other basic amenities. They just don't get wallpaper.

Dunno if you all saw- but his OOT Fantasy Football name is the Fig Newtons, which is just so outstanding.

I'm like 83% talking out my ass here, but I have to think that the overall crime situations in Norway vs the US makes them a really impractical model for how we should behave and that there's a sweet spot between sending a chick to prison for 5 years for a class trip to pound town and a wishy washy life sentence that we're not calling that because of WAT for a mass murderer.
